Player Improvement Discussions will revolve around Strokes Gained. Campers will also learn how to formulate their own practice plans to make indoor and non-traditional practice meaningful.

College Preparation will address the recruiting process including basic NCAA Rules, written correspondence, important dates, and deadlines for standardized testing. In addition to the “Finding the Right Program.”

Locations

The Golf Training Facilities at Columbia University - hosted on Columbia University's main campus in Morningside Heights at the Dodge Fitness Center. Opened in 2001 and recently renovated and expanded in 2019, Columbia’s golf center boasts of two rooms - the larger space offers 2,000 square feet of chipping and putting space and the other 1,000 square feet of hitting space with state-of-the-art technology including.

Saint Andrew's Golf Club - America's oldest golf club (1888) and founding member of the USGA, Saint Andrew's is one of golf's venerated historical venues. Only 12 miles from Columbia University, the Membership and their guests enjoy the game in a spectacular setting and play one of the area's best-conditioned and exciting layouts - a challenging par-71 golf course, redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 1983.

Stewardship of the traditions and history of the ancient and honorable game is a priority at Saint Andrew's. Members are proud to wear the Red Jacket and offer a spirited toast to the memory of John Reid, the founder of American golf, in the room that bears his name.

In addition to several other area facilities, The Saint Andrew's Golf Club is also home to the Columbia Lions Men's Golf team. The facility is meticulously manicured and offers a wonderful short game area as well as two smaller practice greens where golfers can hone their skills. The golf course is challenging but fair and requires precision shot-making to have a chance at breaking far.

Haworth Country Club - A hidden gem in Haworth, N.J. just 15 miles from Columbia's campus, the 18-hole private golf course at Haworth Country Club offers a picturesque 175-acre property featuring bent-grass greens, tees and fairways which provide some of the best conditioned playing surfaces in the Northeast. The course officially opened in 1965, but was redesigned by the legendary golf course architect, Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 2000. The course length is up to 7,000 yards and the modern design features classic traditional elements that provide a memorable round. Since then, Haworth has been selected to host several US Open & MET Open qualifying rounds in recent years.

In May 2017, the Columbia Golf Program added Haworth Country Club as one of its home facilities. Haworth allows the Columbia men's and women's golf programs an additional practice venue as well as the opportunity to host annual collegiate tournaments, an alumni, friends and family tournament, along with golf camps.

Upon request, separate arrangements can be made to visit Columbia's campus prior to the start of camp or after it has concluded. Please contact Coach Mueller directly should you wish to visit.
