Student Wellness

The Physical Education and Recreation program recognizes the demands and stresses of academic life on a student's well-being. The Student Wellness program aims to encourage students to stay active, de-stress, and make healthy choices by increasing accessibility to fitness opportunities in the Dodge Fitness Center and around campus. PEREC Student Wellness initiatives are open to all Columbia students and are always free.

In response to the remote learning environment, The Virtual Wellbeing program, co-sponsored with Barnard Physical Education's Fit Bear program, has multiple free Zoom classes each week during the semester for students to support their physical wellbeing.
