Register to become a club member

A group of sailboats from Columbia's sailing club move through the water.

Open to both casual sailors and competing athletes, the sailing team encourages members to develop independence and self-confidence, improve communication, and foster teamwork and friendship while competing at the highest level of collegiate sailing. The sailing team is a club sport at Columbia University that competes with colleges and universities throughout the United States in the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA). The team draws members from all parts of the country and continues to uphold a tradition of sailing excellence year after year. Continually a competitive member of the Middle Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA), regattas take us from New Hampshire to Virginia, and everywhere in between. Practices are open to both undergraduate and graduate students from Columbia University and Barnard College who have a Dodge Fitness Center membership. All levels of sailing experience are welcome. As per ICSA rules, sailors that participate in weekend ICSA registered regattas must be undergraduates.
